This is a music fan page, and I’ll be starting with Taylor Swift

In an ever-shifting business landscape, adaptability isn’t just a trait—it’s a competitive advantage. Companies that embrace change, learn from challenges, and pivot when necessary are the ones that not only survive but also thrive in uncertain environments.

You already know I’m a lover of books. You should know going in, though, it’s more than books I love. It’s pretty much anything with a story. Poetry, songs, a great movie, an excellent tv shows (there’s going to be a whole page on here for Gilmore Girls, if that tells you anything). Music in particular can really move me, both as a neurodivergent human and as a writer. A song with a good story will catch my attention and keep it, every time.

Taylor Swift is Top 10 easiest music to binge. Slow songs, peppy ones, long stories, short explanations, they’re all there. She doesn’t leave ANYTHING out. And it’s been amazing to be part of it since the beginning.

Of course, there’s the other, probably unfortunate, truth that her real life has been on display and it mirrored the stages in my own life so beautifully that it’s been hard not to consider her and her music friend I’ve gone through my twenties, and now my thirties with. So when she started dating Travis, I was attached, both as a group chat girlie AND as a person who loves a good trope.

The best part of celebrity status is that us lowly peasants will never know what really happened at first. Which makes it basically like the rough draft of a great novel. All we got to see was what they allowed us to, and honestly it was pretty freaking magical. Which of course led me to DESPERATELY wishing I could write their love story in a fantastic colleagues to lovers EPIC that would win me awards. As soon as she goes in a history book, I’m writing a “historical fiction”. WATCH ME.

If Taylor and Travis were fanfic, their story would go: Travis asked for publicity, their management made it work, Taylor didn’t like Travis, Travis loved Taylor, Taylor couldn’t help but fall in love back, they started supporting each other for real, then he won the Super Bowl and she had to watch him say “Viva Las Vegas” as their happy ending scene LMAO

Of course, there will be more. I like anything with a story, so that spans pretty much all genres (except the heaviest of heavy metal). You’ll hear my thoughts on Bowling for Soup, Nic D (he’s the best), A Great Big World (THE BEST), Six the Musical (Obsession is a gentle word for how my family feels about the album), and so many more random but powerful story telling artists.
